1. Who we are, what we do

LoanHQ is a technology platform that lenders use to administer their loan products. We are not a lender. We do not issue loans, decide who receives them, or set their terms.

All lending decisions on the platform are made by the registered lender that operates the storefront a borrower is using.

2. Account eligibility

To create a lender account, you must be an adult authorised to act on behalf of a lawful lending business in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or licence condition
• Process information about people without lawful basis
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the platform
• Disrupt or interfere with the platform's normal operation
• Misrepresent who you are or who you are authorised to act for

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to the platform. You grant LoanHQ a limited licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you upload and for ensuring you have the right to upload it.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability and will publish maintenance schedules in advance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may suspend access to the platform if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users or comply with law.

6. Fees + billing

Fees for the platform are set out in your subscription agreement or order form. Fees are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise.

Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of access.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your settings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that we reasonably suspect involve fraud, or that violate applicable law.

On termination, you may export your data within a reasonable period before we delete it from active systems.

8. Disclaimer + liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in writing.

Our liability under these Terms is limited as set out in your subscription agreement, or where none exists, to the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos.
